Instructions for Android Users

Currently, Google does not allow U.S. pay-to-play games of skill in their Play Store, so Android users need to update their Givling App by downloading the new file from our website.

Please follow the following steps:

  1. You must know your password before you begin this process. If you are not sure of your password, go into settings > (upper right corner of the App Home page) and select “Edit Profile” to change your password. Be sure to SAVE your changes.
  2. Delete the old GivlingApp. Your information is safe. It will be saved in our database. (When you sign in later in the process, your data will reappear in the new App.)
  3. Close all browsers on your Android device. ALL browser windows must be closed, other than the Givling website:
  4. To download the new App, go to from your device and click on "ANDROID".
  5. Scroll down and click on “Download for Android” and follow the “setting” prompts as directed.

If everything downloads correctly, you may skip to Step 8. If it did not download correctly, continue to Step 6.

  1. If you followed the instructions above and were not able to install, you may be required to enable 3rd party & Facebook downloads in your phone settings.

    To enable 3rd Party Apps in Android:

    1. Open the Settings application on your device
    2. Tap on Apps & Notifications
    3. Tap on the 3-dots icon located at the top right of the screen
    4. Select Special access
    5. Tap on install unkown apps
    6. You should now be able to enable permission for individual apps
  2. If nothing happens, or if you're redirected to somewhere other than the Givling website, click the three dots at the top of the browser window and seslect "use desktop version" or "open in chrome".
  3. Once you have downloaded the Givling App, sign in and your dat will be there. Your font and/or zoom may have to be adjusted in your phone settings to see your ranking on the screen.
